Project Aware Players
The Players are a Maine based group of teens that create interactive skits, songs, dances, and video that raise awareness about healthy choices and express their concerns about issues such as substance abuse, harassment, eating disorders, teen pregnancy, and more.
The troupe performs for schools, parent groups, and community events. They have been presenting since 2004 and have reached thousands of people including parents, teachers, pharmacists, social workers, doctors and students.
“Untold Stories: the truth about bullying and harassment” is the Players second movie. In 2007, the troupe created “Falling”, a dramatic, cautionary tale that focuses on one teen’s slide into prescription drug abuse. It is designed to raise awareness and is an educational tool for students, parents, teachers and community members. The movie is available on DVD. Learn more about "Falling">>
